From this area you can trailer out to all kinds of riding. The first night we just hiked out back and took our horses.
Getting Close to Hurricane

Once you get off I-15 and head down highway 9 you will see the grounds to the equestrian Park on your right below.

There is a track, indoor and outdoor ring

Lots of room for the biggest of truck and trailers

The first night we took our friends the Mack's for a hike. I rode for a bit then let one of the kids ride for a while

The trails had nice footing.

Day 2 at Hurricane Ron and I loaded the horses and headed to the Northwest corner of Zion to ride. It is a long ride over 22k /13 miles so it will take all day.

To get to the trail head we headed back North about 20miles to the Zion/Kolob Canyon. You will see the Brown National Park sign for Zion. It is at exit 40.

We headed to the top and turned around and came back to the second parking lot going up from Lees Pass Trailhead.

It is a short ride from the second parking lot to the trailhead.
