"Between the ears" our view of Arizona

I took a bunch a pictures the last couple days between the ears of my stallion "The Huntsman"
Out for a short ride up the sand draws

Love the shots with Superstition Mountains in the back ground

Road into town with Stef to see the parade but miss it so headed to the Fair and Rodeo as it is "Lost Dutchman Days" here in Apache Junction

Ron's horse Cimaron really didn't know what to think about the Fair.

Ron had to stop and talk to some of Apache Junction fireman- Missing work already LOL

Hunter is waiting for someone to come give him a carmel covered apple or cotton candy but all he got was kettle corn.

Ron and I at the back of the rodeo ring

Heading back

Back at Camp with our 13 year old Aussie Sidney. I believe she is totally deaf now. But she can still see me LOL

Darrell and his pup Buddy Miner

Another view of camp

This mountain changes colour all the time

End of another day

The day after the snow day.

All I can say is it must be global warming. One day it is 70 plus degrees and the next the snow is falling. Yesterday you could still see some snow on the tops of the mountains surrounding us. We took the horses out for a short ride before going to visit Ernie "Hurry up" on his Goldfield train. Then it was off for supper at the "Mammoth Steakhouse and Saloon"  were we had fun with the group from Colorado called "The Saddle Strings" .

It was kind of cool seeing Superstition Mountain sprinkled with snow

Looking over to Superstition from on top of my stallion Hunter ("The Huntsman")

Darrell and Ron taking a break well I take pictures

Darrell and Bailey

Once back at camp little "Buddy Miner" was waiting for us to return.

Headed up to Goldfield to ride the train

Ernie "Hurry up" on his Goldfield train

It is a full load of passage's this afternoon

Great shot of Ron on the train with Superstition in the background

Riding "Hurry up's" train is a must if you go to Goldfield. It is like a history lesson.

Look at the snow on the Twin Peaks mountains

Thank you Ernie for a great ride !

"The Rubberband Bandits" are all together again. Ready to rob Ernie's train any day now LOL

Had such a great time with supper people.

Darrell was the first to get up and dance with his new girlfriend LOL Yah I know she is married.

Darrell's sole mate Dakota Jim LOL

Snow in Arizona

Can you believe yesterday it was 70 degrees and today it snowed.

Hard to tell but there are huge snow flakes coming down

Smarty thinks he Canada and to think we took the snow tires off LOL

Hunter was just getting use to the 70 degree weather

At laundry mate looking over at the snow on Superstition Mountain

Trailer ride to Willow Creek

Who abandons a puppy out on the Desert? This cute little dog was dropped out on the desert to fend for himself. Thankfully he picked Darrell's trailer to hind under. He now has a new home unless an owner comes along.

We got invited to go on a ride with a bunch of people from Goldfield. We loaded 12 horses into 3 stock trailers and headed up the road.

Arriving at Trail head. Picture of Jim from North Dakota with my stallion Hunter "The Huntsman". Thank you Jim for making this ride possible.

Heading out on an all day ride
